Turramurra is a suburb in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It has a postcode of 2074 and is located 20 kilometres from the Sydney Central Business District.
This suburb borders with Sheldon Forest in the south, which has many Blue Gums growing in the area while to the north you will find Ku-ring-gai National Park.
Turramurra is known for having several famous residents over the year including one time Governor General of Australia, Sir John Kerr who will forever be remembered for his part in Australian politics after he dismissed the Labor government of Gough Whitlam on 11 November 1975.
